National Water Safety Education Competency Framework.
Surf & Survive (Stages 1
- 10)
Stages 1 - 9 will consist of 7 x 45 minute lessons
Stage 10 will consist of 7 x 90 minute lessons

Participants who complete Stage 10 and are 13 years of age, can
choose to take their Surf Rescue Certificate outside of the VACSWIM
program. This will incur an additional assessment fee and can be
arranged directly through Surf Life Saving SA. A training manual is
recommended to help complete the mandatory workbook.
$100 enrolment fee cap on the VACSWIM program 5-13 ages for
families with children of 4 or more.
