VACSWIM SA – Newsletter 2

Enrolments are now open for the 2016/2017 SA Water VACSWIM season and places are filling fast!

With 130 locations across metropolitan and regional SA, it's easy to find a VACSWIM program near you or where you'll be holidaying this summer, and it's even easier to  book online.

Our programs are incredibly popular every year, so it's worth registering now to secure a session time that suits your family. We suggest you book early for larger swimming centre programs particularly in the city, because many offer positions on a first-come, first-served basis.

All VACSWIM SA programs are delivered by our wonderful program providers.  Surf Life Saving S outh Australia runs the beach skills program, while swimming pool programs are managed and delivered by the  Royal Life Saving Society, the  YMCA or in some cases a private operator.

RLSS Operations Manager Denise Power says the VACSWIM SA program is already filling fast, particularly in major metro pools like the Adelaide Aquatic Centre, Waterworld, Burnside and Payneham. She says there's nothing better than seeing parents who have been through the program themselves coming back all these years later with their own children - or as instructors!

December Regional Programs

The majority of VACSWIM programs run in January school holidays, but it's important to know a number of regional SA programs are held in December leading in to Christmas. 

Registrations are now open for the following regional locations running a December VACSWIM program: Booborowie, Cadell, Ceduna, Crystal Brook, Geranium, Jamestown, Lameroo, Lock, Maitland, Minnipa, Pinnaroo, Spalding and Wudinna.
