SA Water VACSWIM Independent Providers
7 December 2015
Big may be beautiful but at SA Water VACSWIM we know that small
is just as beautiful and that's why we love that some of our more
remote locations provide VACSWIM. The Tatiara District
Council runs programs at
Bordertown (14-18 December) and Keith
(4-8 January) and children that enrol here complete the Swim and
Survive program.
The most northernly SA Water VACSWIM program takes place at Coober
Pedy from 4-8 January where the VACSWIM program provides real
relief from the seasonal heat and is a community focus.
Similarly, at Hallett,
2.5 hours north of Adelaide on the Barrier Highway ten children
will enjoy VACSWIM.
Making up the independant VACSWIM programs are the
City of Marion and Mt
Gambier who provide the Swim and Survive program and City
of Gawler that provides their own bespoke program. These
three locations attract significant numbers so whether the location
has 500 kids or just 10, every provider is part of the SA Water
VACSWIM family aiming to provide children with the sort of
confidence that is waterproof!
